3rd borough - Le Bar du Petit Fer a Cheval

As a boy, I liked to stroll after school around rue de la Lappe and sneak a look at the girls who were on the game rue de la Roquette. Close to La Bastille square, there was one most unbelievably tiny bar. Its counter was in the shape of a horse-shoe, which I have never seen before. This bar has disappeared long ago, and so have the girls of La Bastille. However, by pure chance I've found "Le Bar du Petit Fer a Cheval" rue Vieille du Temple, number 32, with a counter just like the one I remember from my happy boyhood... Enchanting place to sip a glass, nibble on peanuts and start futile conversations. Cheering!
